There are people who believe that vaccinations should be a choice. There are also people who strongly believe that vaccines do not work and that they may increase a child's chances of having autism. Many of these people also believe in natural healing, therefore vaccinations are not needed to protect their children and themselves from diseases. Some of these people may live their lives without getting vaccinated or feeling the need to because many others around them often get vaccinated, often decreasing their chances of getting dangerous diseases too.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteThis is very interesting. I had no idea that there were so many groups out there, especially on social media, that are against vaccinations. I have received all my vaccinations growing up as to prevent terrible diseases and disorders. That being said, I also don't get flu shots. I think they are separate from vaccinations though because vaccinations fight to prevent life-threatening diseases, especially while growing up, while the flu shot just tries to prevent the flu. The flu can be severe in some cases, but mostly it is inconvenient and gross. My main question is why do you think that people and groups are against vaccines? Is it something they grow up thinking or might it be influences spread my social media? There is obviously much science to prove why vaccines are good, yet why is it so easy for them to dismiss it?
